I enjoy working with congregations that are community minded. I believe that the Lord’s church is one body and that each part has a function. My primary function, as a member of the Lord’s church, is to preach and teach the Gospel. I believe in visiting and encouraging both members and the lost with the goal of them better following Jesus Christ.

Whether in youth, pulpit, education, or media ministry, I try to be the best that I can be wherever the Lord places me. What follows are some brief statements of belief.

I believe in the power of the church as a Christian community that is counter-culturally radical from secular society. What I mean by this is that I would try to shape members into a Christian community that would be of influence in the greater secular community. It should be obvious that Christians are different from “other” non-Christians because we embody Christ. In this way, too, we can be evangelistic by living the life of Christ in a selfless, humble, fashion, yet not be “stuffy” like some stereotypical religious individuals. You can be a Christian and have fun!

I believe in God, the Father, Jesus, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is active and alive in this world. He sent His Son, Jesus, to redeem humankind from sin and to bring people into a loving relationship with Him. The Holy Spirit dwells within every Christian, marking him or her with a seal of redemption. The Spirit comforts, guides, and leads us.

The Bible is God’s only inspired Word to humankind. We are to read and study the Bible to better conform to and obey God’s will. There is only one way to salvation and that way is through Jesus. One becomes a Christian by hearing the Word of God. A person must then have faith in Jesus, repent of their sins, and be baptized for the remission of their sins. Christians then must live Christ-like, sharing their faith, until death or Jesus comes.
